The Veterinary Care Center is a busy, privately owned small animal hospital with a loyal client base and a highly experienced support team.
Our paperless, Cornerstone-based hospital is fully equipped to support high-quality, efficient medicine, including ultrasound, digital radiography (including dental imaging), surgical and therapy lasers, and a full in-house IDEXX laboratory.
We also offer both traditional and select holistic services.
What your role can look like
This is a flexible position that can be tailored to your strengths and interests, including:
- Wellness and general practice
- Medical and urgent care
- Surgery
- Dentistry
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team with approximately a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, including experienced RVTs and assistants.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation (hourly, salary, or per diem depending on role and experience)
- Approximately 3 weeks PTO (sick + vacation, prorated)
- Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance
- CE allowance (~$2,500/year or approved as needed)
- Paid California license, DEA registration, and professional dues (SCVMA, CVMA)
- Health insurance through Kaiser (~65% employer-paid after 90 days)

What we’re looking for
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Active California veterinary license or eligibility
